Are you over the age of 23 and curious about the traits you've noticed in yourself? Have you ever wondered if you might be Autistic and/or have ADHD? If so, I'm here to offer you a safe and supportive space for exploration. I'm James Reling (he/him), a late-diagnosed autistic adult and mental health therapist with a deep passion for neurodiversity, cognitive neuroscience, and trauma healing.

Your Personal Exploration:

Embarking on a journey of self-discovery can be both exciting and overwhelming. If you find yourself reflecting on your experiences, thinking, "Could I be neurodivergent?" or simply wanting to understand yourself better, you're not alone. This Neurodiversity Discovery Meeting is a unique opportunity for you to ask questions, share your thoughts, and gain insights from someone who specializes in working with neurodivergent adults.

What to Expect:

Please note that this meeting is not an assessment or therapy session. It's a casual consultation over video where you can freely discuss your thoughts and feelings regarding neurodiversity. I'm here to listen and offer feedback based on my expertise. Whether you're seeking clarity, validation, or simply a chance to connect with someone who understands, this meeting is designed with you in mind.

Navigating Your Curiosity:

I understand how puzzling it can be to reach adulthood feeling a bit different, often misunderstood by others, and facing challenges in friendships and relationships. Discovering that you're neurodivergent can be an incredibly validating experience, shedding light on your unique strengths and struggles. It's a realization that can empower you to better support yourself as you strive to achieve your personal and professional goals.

The Journey Ahead:

Unraveling the truth about your neurotype can be both liberating and daunting. It might reshape how you view your past, prompting thoughts about missed experiences and the support you might have needed. While this discovery can bring up a range of emotions, I'm here to assure you that you're not alone on this path.

After our meeting, I may follow up by emailing resources to support you as you continue your journey of self-discovery, whether you ultimately identify as neurodivergent or not. Remember that this is your journey, and you're in control of how you navigate it.

Schedule a Meeting:

If you're ready to explore your neurodiversity with someone who understands, I invite you to set up a Neurodiversity Discovery Meeting with me. During our hour together, you can share, ask questions, and gain insights without the pressure of an assessment or diagnosis. Please keep in mind that this meeting is not therapy, but a supportive conversation tailored to your needs. The fee is $145 for one-hour which is collected when you sign up for the meeting.
